The story revolves around an epic golf match in Sweden on June 5, 1939 between Churchill and Hitler; and it tells us how that classic encounter determined the War’s outcome and thus the fate of Western civilization. Did that contest in an an obscure golf course on the Swedish peninsula really occur? The match is not recorded in history. It is, therefore, alternative history, i.e., speculative fiction – conjecture based on historical fact? The reader will have to figure out the answer to that compelling question.
